Birth of Jesus Christ
Birth of Jesus Christ
Birth and Life of Jesus Christ is a frequently discussed and written subject in every household of Christians especially at the time of Christmas. Children are always eager to hear the stories of Birth of Jesus Christ. Most popular and widely acknowledged story about Birth of Jesus Christ narrates the story of a young woman Mary engaged to a carpenter Joseph. One fine morning an Angel sent by God told Mary that she has been chosen to bear Son of God. Soon after, when Joseph realized that Mary is pregnant, he immediately married Mary as per the instructions of Angel.

Shortly thereafter, Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem to pay yearly taxes. Like them, thousands of people had gathered in Bethlehem to pay the taxes. By the time they reached Bethlehem, it was swarming with people and as a result, they had a tough time finding a suitable accommodation. Ultimately, they could manage a small room in a stable in the backyard of an inn. It was here in this stable where Mary gave birth to the Son of God. Jesus was kept in a manger instead of a crib. At the same time when Jesus was born, an Angel appeared in the sky outside Bethlehem and informed shepherds about the birth of Jesus. Shepherds immediately left their flocks and rushed to worship the Son of God.
